In his role as Ambassador for Andrology Australia, Merv Hughes travels Australia promoting men’s health. Merv encourages men to learn more about their health, to be aware when their health changes, and to seek help from their doctor. Merv speaks to community groups to let them know that male reproductive health problems are common, that they are important and that help is available from their doctor.
Merv also promotes the free Andrology Australia resources that are available to men, the community and health professionals to raise awareness of men’s reproductive health and associated conditions; available from the Andrology Australia website at no cost. www.andrologyaustralia.org.
The funds raised from the Merv’s Have a Crack Day will be used to provide continuing community based men’s health education activities and resources. Ensuring those who are working to promote men’s health in the community continue to be supported.
We look forward to bringing you more information on the way the funds will be used closer to the Merv’s Have a Crack Day event, being held on December 11.
